HOW DID THIS BOOK COME ABOUT?
This book is inspired by a text message I crafted to my oldest son over 20 years ago. My hope was to share the most important counsel I could give on how to live a happy and productive life if I could never share anything else—MY LAST TEXT. Back then texts were limited to 160 characters. I made each character count. Honestly, I never knew he read and valued it until recently. At his encouragement, I am sharing it now as a gift to my children and grandchildren.
If I could add one more message, I would add, “RUN YOUR RACE.” And as you do, know that I’m standing here cheering for you.
